ITINERARY
Victoria Falls to Etosha: 14 days

Days 1 and 2: Victoria Falls
Day 1: Welcome at the airport and transfer by cab to our Pennywise Cottages accommodation (very simple establishment, exceptional staff).
Dinner at 3 Monkeys.
Day 2: Departure at 6:30 am on foot for Forest National Park.
Visit Victoria Falls and walk through the rainforest.
Lunch at Brooks Cafe & Deli Vic Falls in Elephant Walk.
12 h : Transfer by cab to Kasane.
Pick-up of rental vehicle.
Check-in at our accommodation, Irène’s (a very friendly cottage), full provisioning in town for 2 days.
Lunch at the cottage (self-catering) or in town (free).
Dinner at the Old House.

Days 3 and 4: Chobe River Front
Day 3: Departure at dawn.
Safari drive in the reserve’s eastern zone.
Breakfast and lunch on your own (self-catering).
Dinner at the cottage (self-catering) or restaurant in town (on your own).
Lodging at Irène’s.
Day 4: Departure at dawn.
Safari drive in the reserve, western zone.
Breakfast and lunch on your own (self-catering).
Accommodation and dinner at Kololo Guesthouse in Katima Mulilo, Namibia.

Day 5: Nkasa Rupara N.P.
Departure at 7:30 am.
Breakfast in town.
Provisioning for 5 to 7 days depending on your choice.
Safari drive in the reserve.
Lunch on your own (self-catering) and dinner at the lodge.
Accommodation at Nkasa Lupala Tented Lodge.

Days 6 and 7: Bwabwata N. P. East side
Departure at 6:30 am.
Safari drive in the Bwabwata reserve.
Breakfast and lunch on your own (self-catering).
Camping at Nambwa Campsite or lodge (optional).

Days 8 and 9: Bwabwata N.P. west side
Day 8: Departure at 6:30 a.m. for a final safari drive in the reserve with picnic breakfast (self-catering).
215 km road drive to Rundu, at the other end of the transcaprivi.
Lunch at our destination on the edge of Popa Falls.
Visit to Popa Falls and boat cruise.
Dinner on your own (self-catering).
Lodging in a campground or cottage (optional) at White Sands.
Day 9: Departure at 8:30 am.
Safari drive in Buffalo Core Area N.P.
Breakfast and lunch on your own (self-catering).
Dinner at Shametu River Lodge.
Accommodation in campground or cottage (optional) at Shametu River Lodge.

Day 10: Tsumeb
Breakfast at the lodge.
Departure at 9 a.m. for a road drive to Tsumeb.
Lunch on your own.
Bush camping and dinner on your own (self-catering).

Days 11, 12 and 13: Etosha N.P.
Day 11: Breakfast at campsite (self-catering)
Departure at 8 a.m. for Etosha.
Drive into the reserve.
Lunch and dinner on your own: self-catering or restaurant at your convenience.
Accommodation at Namutoni campsite.
Day 12: Departure at sunrise for a game drive in search of wild animals.
Meals on your own : self-catering or restaurant at your convenience.
Guided night drive.
Accommodation at Namutoni campsite.
Day 13: Sunrise safari drive to Okaukuejo.
Meals on your own: self-catering or restaurant at your convenience.
Meet at Okaukuejo gate at 2:30 pm.
Departure for Odjiwarongo.
Accommodation at Kameku Guesthouse.

Day 14: Odjiwarongo – Windhoek (250 km)
Breakfast in hotel.
Departure at 8:30 am on the fast road to Windhoek.
Stop for a short visit to the Okahandja woodcarving market, if time permits.
Return the rental car in Windhoek.
Transfer to the airport or to your hotel.
